James C Brett Big'Un Super Mega Chunky 300g

James C. Brett Big’Un Super Mega Chunky is an exceptionally thick and soft yarn, specially designed for quick and impressive knitting and crochet projects. Made from 100% supersoft polyester, it has a wonderfully squishy, chenille-style texture that creates a cosy and luxurious finish.

Each generous 300g ball contains approximately 29 metres (31 yards) of super mega chunky yarn. It is perfect for finger knitting or can be worked with 20mm needles, allowing projects to grow quickly. The chunky construction makes it particularly suitable for cosy blankets, scarves, oversized accessories and other statement homeware projects.

Big’Un is an excellent choice for beginners as well as experienced crafters, as the large stitches are easy to see and projects work up rapidly. It is also machine washable on a mild 30°C wash, although it should not be tumble dried or ironed.

We know how important fast, reliable delivery is. All orders are shipped directly from our SMD Knitting HQ in Llay, near Wrexham, allowing us to handle any delivery requirements quickly and efficiently.

Orders received by 4:00 pm (Monday–Friday, excluding bank holidays) are usually dispatched the same day. Most parcels are sent via our 24-hour tracked services with Royal Mail, Hermes, or DPD Local. Smaller, low-value orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class.

You’ll receive email or text updates once your order is dispatched and again on the morning of delivery.

Please note that while we aim for next-day delivery, some remote postcodes (BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, ZE, and parts of FK, KW, PA, PH, PO) may take longer.

If you're unhappy with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days for a refund. Please include a note with your reason for return. Refunds are processed within five working days of receiving your item. Digital purchases are non-refundable.

Return shipping costs are non-refundable, and items must be unopened, in new condition, and in their original packaging.

We cannot accept returns of opened DVDs or CDs, in line with distance selling regulations.

If your order arrives damaged, notify us within seven working days for a full refund or exchange. We'll refund your return postage, and can provide a pre-paid envelope on request. Returns should be sent to:
